We went to Lake Avenue after work today. I ended my day at the Massillon site and met Kay at about 5:15. The wildflowers near the river are becoming brown and shriveled, nut there were still a few butterflies around. It was shocking to see how early the sun took on that sunset type of glow, but it looked pretty reflecting off the trees to the east. There were several trees beginning to show autumn color. It will be exciting to watch as more and more of the leaves turn shades of yellow and red. October is almost here, and it promises to be a very colorful month!
