September 8 - Lake Avenue

Starting Weather: Mostly Sunny 72°
Ending Weather: Mostly Sunny 69°
Distance Covered: 1.14 mile
Time: 6:14 PM - 6:55 PM
Cedar Waxwing
Today was an after-work jaunt.  Since Lake Avenue is close and has a variety of natural and man-made sites, we went there.  I headed south and Kay headed north.  I went down to the river, but most of the wildflowers were dead or dying.  The butterfly population has decreased significantly.  I did notice quite a few Cedar Waxwings - both adults and juveniles- flying around this area.   I photographed a garden spider in a web, but it was moving so fast, I didn't get a sharp photo of it.  Didn't stay long, not a whole lot going on here.
