May 6 - Clinton

Today was an after-work jaunt for me (Kay is on break from school.) We went to Clinton in search of goslings and ducklings. We did see a goose family, complete with mom and dad and nine goslings. We crossed the street from the pond and walked north, across one of our favorite bridges. We saw and heard plenty of birds, including the Eastern Bluebirds that are almost always around this part of the trail. We saw groups of 3 or 4 Goldfinches flitting around and also saw some Yellow Warblers. There were a few woodpeckers, and numerous Turkey Vultures (buzzards) soaring overhead. We always enjoy this trail, as there are bridges, locks, a pond, plentiful birds and many other picturesque features.

Favorite bridge, bluebirds
Always something new though, too
A place of beauty
