Today we went back to Forty Corners.  Here's why: I had shown Kay the photo of the goldenrod with little bugs all over it.  She drove to Forty Corners yesterday to look for those flowers.  She never did find them (I think someone picked them!)  What she did find were hundreds of caterpillars in a tree right next to the trail.  Of course, my curiosity was piqued, so back we went.  It was amazing; they were all over one small tree.  We snapped away of course.   We also saw a hawk land in a tree fairly close to the trail, and lots of bugs and butterflies flitting around the wildflowers.  It was a pretty day and a great hike!
